Vintage glossy promotional photograph of a dancer in costume for a performance titled "Interpretation of a Black Widow Spider," photographed by Murray Korman, New York City. Handwritten inscription on the front reads, “To Don Cappo, a great good dancer,” dated 1948 but not signed. A handwritten note on the verso identifies the dance title and appears to name the performer as Lee Val, 1162 6th Ave, New York, with an additional note reading, “P.S. this number is clothed with a black velvet skirt in the beginning.” Presented in a period frame with a vintage mat, both showing wear and tear. Photograph exhibits small tears, abrasions, creases, and general wear consistent with age and handling. Framed in house.
