Vintage entomology specimen display labeled "Morphos - S. America," containing pinned Morpho butterfly specimens in varying sizes and colorations, including iridescent blue, pale white, golden, and brown examples. Several specimens bear small handwritten locality labels referencing Colombia and Brazil, with some dated 1960-1961. The glass-front wood cabinet bears a circular red and silver maker's label on the reverse from Hans Luhr, Weissenburgstr. 4, Kiel, Germany, marked "Luco Erzeugnis."

This display is attributed to a former museum collection, though this provenance cannot be independently verified. The specimens show varying degrees of damage consistent with long-term storage, including several butterflies with missing wings and general fragility throughout. Evidence of past pest infiltration is present; the case has been opened, examined, and superficially cleaned, and no active pest infiltration was found. Detached wings are enclosed in an envelope taped to the back of the cabinet for possible restoration.

While these displays will be carefully packaged to prevent exterior damage during shipping, shifting or loosening of specimens may occur in transit. The cabinet opens easily for readjustment upon receipt.
