This antique desk is absolutely stunning. It is very sturdy and built of solid wood that is in great condition, except for a couple blemishes. It features an ornate "what-not" shelf on top, and a convenient two shelf cabinet on the bottom. The drawer opens and closes smoothly. The drop down desk is very sturdy and can definitely accommodate writing, a laptop, or a typewriter. The interior pigeon hole section is in good condition, save for some red staining. The original key is missing, but I am including a key that will allow you to open the cabinet on the bottom and the drop down desk.
