Here is a wonderful hand crank child's sewing machine "toy" by the Singer Manufacturing Co. from the 1920s. It is in original condition and is very clean for its age. It is made of heavy cast iron. It appears to be missing a thread tensioner on the top, but otherwise is in complete and working order.
