Remington Portable Model 5 Typewriter with Russian Keyboard and Typeface, 1934
Remington Portable Model 5 Typewriter with Russian Keyboard and Typeface, 1934
Here is a wonderful Remington Portable Model 5 portable manual typewriter manufactured in the United States in 1934 with a Russian language keyboard and typeface. This typewriter is fully tested and functional and comes with a brand new black and red ink ribbon already installed (you can type in black or in red), so you will be ready to start typing when you receive it. This machine shows normal signs of wear and tear to be expected from a vintage typewriter including minor rust spots, some spots of discoloration on the paint, as well as some internal dust and residue. The typewriter sports lovely black and glass keys that type great.
This typewriter comes in a convenient carrying case.
Please see the last photo for a full type sample from this machine.

All typewriters sold by Memory Hole Vintage are fully functional and are sold with a brand new ink ribbon previously installed, unless otherwise noted. This means that all major functions work as expected and all keys type normally. As with most vintage typewriters, a key may stick or mistype occasionally, but that is to be expected of older machines. These typewriters have been cosmetically cleaned, but will include varying degrees of internal dust, scuffing, and other cosmetic imperfections. Please examine the photographs for a clear understanding of the machine you are buying. Happy typing!
