Here is a somber sixth plate tintype photograph of a deceased baby in a seated position with tied wrists so that the baby's hands do not fall off to the sides. This image comes in a separated but complete union case behind a brass mat and a glass panel. The picture is a sixth plate tintype, its dimensions being approximately 2.75" x 3.25," not including the case.
This photo was acquired from the estate of renowned photography collector and dealer Howard Daitz of New York City, husband of Evelyn Daitz, herself a photography collector and curator.
