PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION: Salvaged Gravestone Crucifix Fragment, From Memorial Company in Upstate NY

This is a gravestone fragment that I purchased from an occasional roadside antique shop in Upstate NY. The proprietor of this shop had cleaned out the building of a manufacturer and dealer of gravestones and monuments, which is where this fragment and many other examples in his shop were removed from.

Last time I posted a grave stone for sale, many folks were upset, and I share this one for sale with great caution and respect. I understand that this item pushes the boundaries of some people's ethics. That said, I have no reason to believe that this grave stone was improperly removed from its grave any time in recent history, or by anyone in the recent chain of custody, and am comfortable offering it for sale. It is the most likely scenario that this damage fragment was removed from the original gravesite and replaced by the monument company whose premises it was found in.
