- When you place an absentee bid, you’ll choose a bid strategy. Your chosen strategy determines how the current bid will be set at the time your bid is placed. Your maximum bid always remains confidential.

The available strategies are:
- 🐢 Slow & Steady — starts your bid low and lets others chase you.
- ⚡💥 Power Bid — starts at about half your max to show intent without revealing your top number.
- ♥️♠️ All In ♦️♣️ — sets the current bid to your full bid amount right away.
- The current bid shown on each lot reflects all confirmed absentee bids and updates automatically as new bids come in.
- When the live auction starts, bidding will begin at the current bid. The auctioneer will continue bidding on behalf of absentee bidders up to their max bids.
- Because absentee bids can arrive seconds apart, the current bid you see may not always include bids still being processed. Refresh the page for the most up-to-date information.

Lot 087 - Pair Of Vintage Clear Glass Jugs With Later-Applied Green “Formaldehyde” Paper Labels From Florida Hardware Co., 11-1/2" H Each
Pair of clear glass jugs, approximately gallon size, each bearing a green paper label reading “Formaldehyde,” issued by Florida Hardware Co., with locations listed as Chester, Florida, and Warwick. The labels are later applied and are not original to the manufacture of the glass jugs.
While the jugs were likely used for formaldehyde at some point in their working life, the labels are clearly not original to the vessels and reflect secondary or later use rather than original factory labeling.
Both jugs show surface wear, internal residue, spotting, and handling marks consistent with industrial or laboratory use. Paper labels exhibit staining, edge wear, losses, and discoloration. No stoppers or caps are present.
Condition is as found. No claims are made regarding original contents beyond observable labeling and residue. Please review photographs closely for condition details, label wear, and glass imperfections.
