Here is a lovely ornate brass candlestick featuring the figure of a man with outstretched arms, holding a small bird's nest with two birds in it. This heavy antique candlestick is in good condition, but does show some signs of where, and has some silver accent paint added to the brass in some areas. The actual; candlestick portion of this piece is loose enough from the base that it can rotate if turned. There is a nut on the bottom that I have not tightened, as I don't want to damage the bolt. The candlestick, however, stands up straight and is very sturdy. The bottom is marked 88 DG.
