Here is a great TV lamp featuring the classic comedy and tragedy drama masks, popular symbols of stage plays and theaters. This lamp is made of ceramic in a beautiful green glaze. It was manufactured in the USA by Royal Haeger and is so signed on the bottom. It is in good condition with a couple very small, imperceptible chips and some minor manufacturing imperfections.
TV lamps were produced in the 1950s and 1960s. The lamp, featuring a rear facing bulb, would be placed on top of a television or entertainment center. The light would illuminate the wall behind it, reducing strain on one's eyes.
