Grouping of four vintage composition figurines marked on the underside “By Bonnie Blink, Winchester, Mass.” The set includes “Betsy Trotwood” (2-3/4"), “The Fat Boy” (2-1/2" H), “Sam Weller” (3" H), and “Mr. Micawber” (3-1/2" H), all Dickens characters rendered in molded and painted composition. “Mr. Micawber” has an old repair at the ankles from a past break. These figurines appear to be relatively scarce, with very few documented examples located during research.

Background information from a 1949 Gustin family history notes that Bonnie Blink Studios of Winchester, Massachusetts, was operated by Lester Carlisle Gustin Jr. beginning in 1938. The studio produced molded plastic and composition novelty items and giftware, shipping products nationwide and internationally prior to the onset of World War Two.

Light wear consistent with age and handling.
