Grouping of thirty-three antique unmounted photographs depicting theatrical productions, staged scenes, and costume studies. The images show performers in a wide range of character roles, including figures dressed as 18th-century British nobility with powdered wigs, as well as pirates, soldiers, and other theatrical or narrative characters. Several photographs include visible stage sets, backdrops, and props consistent with school or amateur theatrical productions of the early 20th century.

The group includes photographs bearing a variety of studio and production marks on the versos. Back stamps and annotations include White Studio; Wm. A. Roberts Film Co., Commercial Photographers, Greensboro, North Carolina; and Hooker-Howe Costume Co. One photograph is dated on the verso June 13, 1923, with additional handwritten notes. Another bears a handwritten request reading, “Please return to Oak Grove School, Vassalboro, Maine.” Oak Grove School for Girls was a private Quaker school in Vassalboro, Maine, lending clear institutional and educational context to the group.

Condition varies across the photographs and includes handling wear, edge wear, light creasing, and scattered surface marks consistent with age and use. No mounts are present. The photographs are offered together as a single grouping.

Photos are of various dimensions up to 13" x 11".
