Grouping of seventeen vintage glossy black-and-white photographs documenting retail window displays at a Liggett’s Rexall drug store. The images show a variety of period advertising and merchandising arrangements, including displays for Black & White cigars, Gillette razor blades, Polar Cub electric fans, Evening in Paris perfume, and Dr. Scholl’s pads for corns, bunions, and callouses. Several photographs feature a prominent “5th War Loan” display, placing the group firmly within the World War II home-front era.

The photographs capture changing window layouts, product placement, signage, and decorative elements typical of American drugstore advertising in the early-to-mid 1940s, providing a strong visual record of wartime and immediate pre/postwar retail culture.

Condition varies across the group and includes light handling wear, minor edge wear, and occasional surface marks or small bends, consistent with age. All photographs are unmounted and offered together as a single lot.

Listed dimensions are for each individual photo.
