Here is a very cool pair of antique cast iron bookends featuring the likeness of the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. These bookends are somewhat rare, as they feature Lincoln facing straight on, whereas he is typically depicted facing slightly off center. The bookends are in great condition with nice patina throughout and some remnants of gold paint. The bookends are marked Copyright 1930, along with the number 216. One bookend is stamped on the back with the following: CR.EATION 00. I am not sure if this is maker's mark or some other identifier.
