This pair of cast iron bookends feature a nicely handpainted figural flower design. They are antique old and show lots of character and wear in the paint and in the iron. The backs of the bookends are marked "Pat Pend" (Patent Pending) and there is an artist's signature that I can't quite make out on the bottom.
