Here is an outstanding vintage set of eight spice jars, beautifully hand-painted with Dutch characters and scenes and nicely labeled. The set includes one of each jar for the following spices: Mustard, Celery Salt, Salt, Ginger, Pepper, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Allspice. You can, of course, use the jars to meet your needs. Three of the jars have their original paper labels, identifying them as Dove spices, packed by The Frank Tea & Spice Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. The jars are marked Made in the USA on the bottom. They are now empty. This set comes on a convenient red-painted metal rack that can sit nicely on your countertop or be mounted with two screws or nails on the wall. The red metal lids on the jars have some wear consistent with age and use.
