This antique powder jar has a great label on it that reads "Eastman's Poudre Asachet Verona Violette." The label also identifies this as a product of Andrew Jergens & Co. out of New York and Cincinnati. It features a brass screw on cap with hand painted flowers on top. The jar still contains a small amount of the original powder.
This jar is in good condition for its age. There are no breaks or cracks, but there are some bubbles in the glass, defects from the manufacturing process, including a long one on the back left. The label is in good shape with some loss, but mostly it has survived.
This item measures 3.5" L x 3.5" W x 6.5" H.
