This vintage Royal Doulton glazed ceramic mug, also known as a Toby Jug or Character Jug, features the likenesses of Davy Crockett and Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna in commemoration of The Battle of the Alamo in 1836. It was produced in England under Royal Doulton's "The Antagonist's Collection" with a copyright date of 1984 and model number D6729. It is number 4333 of 9500 produced. This hand made and hand decorated mug was designed by Michael Abberley, and is so marked. This mug is in good condition with no noticeable chips or cracks.
