This antique Odd Fellows cast Iron horseshoe features iconic imagery from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows fraternal organization, also known as IOOF. It includes the letter FLT, which stand fro Friendship, Love and Truth, inside of the three Odd Fellows links. The horseshoe also has an eagle proudly perched on top, an all seeing eye peering down, and hands shaking in unity. This horseshoe is unusual in that it appears to have been painted with a heavy, textured blue paint that has a sparkly quality to it. Much of the paint has worn off, but the remnants give it a unique look. There is rust and wear throughout.
