Here is a fantastic set of antique binoculars manufactured by Balland Fabt, of Paris, France, and are so signed. Along with the company, the rims are also marked with anchor symbols, which indicates that these binoculars were likely Navy or military issue, or perhaps otherwise meant for boating or sailing. They are heavy and made of brass. They are in good, working condition with a nice patina throughout. The focus wheel, which has a slight crack in it, operates normally, though it is somewhat tight. There is a slight chip on the edge of the right front element, which does not affect operation. As is typical with binoculars of this age, there is some dust in the glass elements.
