This is a wanted poster issued by the Office of the Chief of Police, Bureau of Identification, offering a $75.00 reward for passing fictitious checks. Dated San Francisco, September 22, 1910, signed by Eugene R. Wall, Acting Chief of Police. The poster identifies Harry Shoenberg, alias Harry Greenfield, alias N. Woodson, wanted on two charges of passing fictitious checks. Warrant sworn to by M.J. Maisler, charge violating 476a Penal Code, issued by Hon. Charles L. Weller, Judge of Police Court No. 1, this city, county and state. Physical description: age 27 years, height five feet seven inches, weight 140 pounds, complexion dark, face pockmarked, smooth shaven, Russian Jew, slim built, quick talker, walks erect, chews tobacco and spits continuously. Tailor by occupation. When last seen was dressed in dark brown coat and vest, striped pants, stiff derby hat, wore half-moon scarfpin in tie. Instructions state watch tailor shops and places where tailors congregate. If located, arrest, wire me and I will send an officer with proper papers for his return. Printed by Pernau Pub.
