Antique Victorian memorial hair work wreath, crafted from the hair of several individuals and arranged in a deep oval shadowbox. At the center is a carte de visite photograph of a young child framed in blue velvet. The shadowbox retains its original wood back and appears sealed with linen on the verso. Glass is slightly mis-cut but believed to be original. Displays expected wear including dust and debris inside the case. Likely produced in remembrance of the child pictured.
