Antique scrapbook with chromolithograph cover decoration featuring a group of puppies surrounded by gilt floral border on dark blue-green cloth. Published as "The Nonpareil" patented March 1876. Contains over one hundred trade cards, die cuts, and greeting cards with themes of children, butterflies, and flowers. Includes an early Buster Brown trade card among the ephemera. Some pieces are loose. Binding is detached in whole from the spine cover with the item held together at the rear endpapers. Moderate cover wear with soiling and rubbing to gilt highlights.
