Antique Spenser Miniature Sewing Machine, Boston, Mass - Patented 1902
Here is a great small size, hand crank sewing machine manufactured by Spenser Sewing Machine, Co. out of Boston, Massachusetts. The latest patent date listed on the machine is March 18, 1902. The machine has a black painted cast iron base and all metal construction throughout. It cranks without issue, but is a little tight - it could likely use lubrication and adjustment. All parts appear to be present, but it is possible that there are parts missing. It is in good cosmetic condition, with some chips in the paint. There is also a heavily worn spot on the inside of the hand crank, but it does not affect operation.
