Antique snapshot photograph album containing more than 225 black and white photographs documenting life in rural Kansas and Oklahoma, circa 1910–1920. Subjects include World War I soldiers, teenage girls on outings, schoolchildren of Croft, Kansas, and buffalo at Rockefeller Ranch in Belvidere, Kansas. A notable photograph dated January 1916 shows the burning of the Croft Depot. Other scenes feature Eagle Rocks, Independence, Kansas, sledding, dogs and pets, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, a child in a cart pulled by a goat, horses, interiors, early automobiles, and a furniture and undertaker truck. Many photographs are creatively hand cut into shapes or artistically burned at the edges. Album exhibits typical wear and tear consistent with age.
