Small antique photo album titled “Memories of the Rye Meeting Houses,” documenting the history of meeting houses and churches in Rye, New Hampshire, including the Second Meeting House (1756–1840), the Third Meeting House (1888 and circa 1900), and Bethany Congregational Christian Church (1837–1959). The album also includes a series of photographs taken during the fire of March 19, 1959, which destroyed the church.

Contains nine original black-and-white photographic prints with scalloped edges, housed in a simple yellow paper album with typed title and contents page. Images include dramatic nighttime views of the church steeple engulfed in smoke and fire, along with related exterior scenes. Photographs are period snapshots and appear to have been compiled locally as a commemorative or historical record.

Condition issues include general handling wear to the album, edge wear, and curling to the photographs, consistent with age and storage.
