Antique Halloween postcard titled “Halloween Greetings,” depicting two small children indoors, one dressed in a dark cape and pointed hat beside a broom, the other in a white nightshirt holding a jack-o-lantern mask. A green vase with red flowers and framed mirror or painting appear in the background. Marked “Series 1312” with publisher’s monogram at lower left. Postmarked West Virginia, November 2, 1918, and addressed to Miss Helen Gardner, Newcreek, W. Va. Handwritten message on verso references local news, friends, and Halloween activities. General wear and tear consistent with age and handling, including surface creasing, edge wear, and mild discoloration. Each postcard includes a poly sleeve and rigid top loader.
