Antique clear goofus glass plate featuring a lattice edge and an embossed reverse-painted image of Festival Hall and the Cascade Gardens from the World’s Fair, St. Louis, 1904. The design is molded in relief on the reverse and highlighted with applied gold paint to the building and subject areas, along with white background paint. Traces of original blue paint remain on the lattice rim, and several of the molded forget-me-not motifs retain gold-painted accents. Wear and flaking to paint consistent with goofus glass of the period.
