Antique embossed Halloween postcard featuring chromolithographic illustration of a witch on a broomstick flying across a full moon with a black cat, bats flying around, while a woman in a bonnet looks upward. Text reads "What's meant for thee Thee'll have" and "HALLOWEEN GREETINGS" in decorative lettering, and orange border. Print signed by artist E.C. Banks in lower right corner. Maker marked "Made in Saxony" indicating German manufacture. Postmarked October 30, 1909, Chelsea, Massachusetts, with handwritten message and addressed to Silver Lake, New Hampshire. Edge wear and chipping along top border and corners, surface wear consistent with postal handling, and toning on reverse.
