Antique embossed and gold-accented Halloween postcard titled “A Lucky Halloween,” depicting a fortune-telling fairy with butterfly wings adorned with jack-o-lanterns emerging from a walnut shell, holding a wand and framed in radiant light. Verse below reads, “May the Hallowe’en nutshell unto you a good fortune tell.” Marked “I.S. B.37, Made in Germany” along left edge on verso. Postmarked Detroit, Michigan, October 28, 1911, and addressed to Goldie Jordan, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Handwritten message on verso reads, “From your Aunt & Uncle Emma & Henry.” General wear and tear consistent with age and handling, including mild edge wear, faint corner creases, and light surface soiling. Each postcard includes a poly sleeve and rigid top loader.
