Antique Edwardian mourning memorial lithograph “In Loving Memory of Our Dear Father Chas. E. Ege, Died August 13, 1905, Aged 58 Years.” Printed with hand-applied gold and glitter accents, cutouts backed with mother of pearl, and featuring an anchor motif with ribbon reading “Safe With Jesus,” along with a memorial prayer and poem. Copyright 1903 by William F. Hall, Philadelphia, and marked Com. Eng. Co., Phila., Pennsylvania. Housed in a period-appropriate gesso-molded frame with losses to gesso; frame reinforced with modern hardware. Wear includes misshapen paper, tear and losses to upper right corner, general edge wear, and surface and glitter loss.
