Antique column and splat shelf clock manufactured by Riley Whiting, Winchester, Connecticut, featuring 30-hour wooden works, a hand painted face, and a reverse painted glass door depicting “The Orphan’s Prayer,” showing a child praying at the base of a monument. Reverse painting exhibits peeling and losses. Case retains its original surface with alligatoring. Includes original dust caps, weights, pendulum, and key. Not fully tested, but appears likely to function with adjustment or tuning. Wear consistent with age.
