Here is a very cool antique strong box originally manufactured by Safety Chest Co. out of New York , New York and patented in 1912. This safe features an alarm mechanism to ward off would-be intruders. When I hooked a 9V battery up to this alarm, it worked, but seems to be stuck in a ringing state. No guarantees are made for the usability of the alarm mechanism. The brass box is in good condition with normal patina and wear. No key is included. The box features a Yale lock.
