Antique group photograph depicting twenty-seven U.S. Army soldiers posed in three rows before a backdrop of netting, wearing early World War I service uniforms including M1911 “Montana-peak” campaign hats with corded bands, M1916 wool shirts with stand-and-fall collars, and lace-up service leggings. A mix of long black four-in-hand ties, short black bowties, and open collars reflects typical stateside training-camp attire of the period. Likely taken at a U.S. Army or National Guard training camp circa 1917–1918, prior to overseas deployment. Presented in its original period frame backed with board. Unmarked. Exhibits light wear, toning, and surface marks consistent with age and display.
