Antique group photograph depicting twenty-seven U.S. Army soldiers posed in three rows before a backdrop of netting, wearing early World War I service uniforms including M1911 “Montana-peak” campaign hats with corded bands, M1916 wool shirts with stand-and-fall collars, and lace-up service leggings. A mix of long black four-in-hand ties, short black bowties, and open collars reflects typical stateside training-camp attire of the period. Likely taken at a U.S. Army or National Guard training camp circa 1917–1918, prior to overseas deployment. Presented in its original period frame backed with board. Unmarked.
