Antique framed reward poster issued by the Office of the Chief of Police, San Francisco, California, Bureau of Identification, dated June 14, 1915. Headed "$25.00 Reward Missing Boy" and featuring a photograph of James George wearing a suit and top hat. Text details his disappearance from No. 60 Bartlett Street on May 31, 1915, and last sighting in Oakland on June 3, 1915. Includes full physical description and a note that the reward was offered by his father, Peter George, of 2639 Mission Street. Printed by Shannon-Conmy Printing Company, 509 Sansome Street, bearing the Trades Council Union Label of Allied Printing, San Francisco. Water staining to poster; wear consistent with age.
