Antique theatrical broadside dated January 11, 1855, advertising performances at Owens’ Charles St. Theatre. The bill announces the “Great Success!” of the new play “The Lioness of the North,” followed by “Russian Prisoner,” with appearances by Mrs. D. P. Bowers, John Owens, and Mr. Walcot. Additional notices include “Time Tries All!” and an announcement for Mrs. D. P. Bowers’ benefit performance the following day. Presented in a modern frame. Wear, staining, and age toning to the broadside consistent with its 19th century origin.
