Here is a great vintage military cadet dress hat, possibly from a military academy such as West Point. It features orange and black coloring and a 4" black shako rising from the front. It bears a tin eagle emblem as well as two tin harp emblems on either side. It has a leather strap and orange drawstring. The cap is in good condition, though there is some cracking in the leatherette visor, which you can see in the photographs. Also, the eagle emblem and shako are somewhat loose from years of movement and use. There is no size marking, but the head opening is roughly 7 inches by 9 inches.
