Smith Corona Clipper Portable Typewriter with Case, Made in USA, 1946
Smith Corona Clipper Portable Typewriter with Case, Made in USA, 1946
Here is a great Smith Corona Clipper portable manual typewriter manufactured by LC Smith & Corona Typewriters Inc. in the United States of America in 1946. It is in good working order and comes with a brand new black and red ink ribbon already installed. Please note that this machine has some difficulty switching between the black and red color on the ink ribbon, and the switch to do so (located on the right side of the machine) may need to be "fiddled with" or jiggled to get it to switch over. Once switched, the typewriter types beautifully in both black and red, as you can see in the typeface sample provided. This machine includes a convenient carrying case.

All typewriters sold by Memory Hole Vintage are fully functional and are sold with a brand new ink ribbon previously installed, unless otherwise noted. This means that all major functions work as expected and all keys type normally. As with most vintage typewriters, a key may stick or mistype occasionally, but that is to be expected of older machines. These typewriters have been cosmetically cleaned, but will include varying degrees of internal dust, scuffing, and other cosmetic imperfections. Please examine the photographs for a clear understanding of the machine you are buying. Happy typing!
