Door knockers don't usually come this small, making this solid brass beauty quite unique. It features the image of a small mythical creature that one might call an imp, a devil, a demon, or maybe a gremlin. I have seen this image in other products, but am unsure of its origin; the last item I had with this creature was from England. It has two small threaded holes on the back for easy mounting on any door, cabinet, or Hobbit hole.
This door knocker has a great patina and really fun subject matter. Its in great shape with some discoloration and wear in the brass.
