Here is the jam packed handwritten five year diary of Ethel G. Taylor of Keene, New Hampshire, spanning five years between 1936 and 1940. The diary contains a written record of events, stories, meetings, and notes on the weather. It appears that an entry was made for every day of this five year span. The diary is bound in an alligator-skin like leather cover with a locking clasp that no longer locks. The binding of this diary has come partially detached from the cover, but is stable and intact.
