This pair of bookends features the famous United States landmark Mount Rushmore, featuring the faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The base of the bookends have text that reads, "The Shrine of Democracy, Mt. Rushmore National Memorial." They are made of a hollow bronze colored pot metal. The bookends are in fair condition. There is some green oxidation throughout the bookends, as well as chipping and other discoloration. The felt bottoms are missing.
