This vintage Royal Doulton glazed ceramic mug, also known as a Toby Jug or Character Jug, features the likeness of Auld Mac and is marked with his trademark "Bang Went Sixpence." It was produced in England under Royal Doulton with model number D5823. This mug is in good condition with no noticeable chips or cracks. However, it does feature a manufacturing defect in a small spot on the side of Auld Mac's head, under the mug handle, where there is a small spot where the glaze did not completely close. Its not noticeable looking at it from most angles, but is a cool detail if you're a collector of errors!
