Here is a lovely framed lithograph print published by famed illustrators Currier and Ives from their shop at 152 Nassau Street in New York, New York. This print, entitled "To the Rescue," features a dog looking out over the ocean where a child can be seen struggling, drowning, and in distress. This lithograph is one of a series of two, the second being called "He is Saved," depicting the child safely ashore, rescued by the dog. That print is also available in our collection. This print is in good condition with minor signs of wear and age. The frame measures 16.75" x 12.75".
