Here is a lovely antique hand painted cast iron doorstop depicting Sun Bonnet Sue. She features original paint with lovely patina and wear consistent with age and use. There is a paper tag on the back indicating that this item was once sold by "Come Again Shop - Where Unusual Goods are Found" on Boylston Street in Boston, Massachusetts. This doorstop has a felt bottom. Please note that the doorstop is slightly off balance and tends to fall backward on uneven surfaces.
