Here is an astonishing four volume set of Jean Cruveilhier's series Anatomia Patologica Del Corpo Umano, or as translated from the original Italian to English, Pathological Anatomy of the Human Body. The first two volumes were published in 1838, while the third and fourth were published in 1840 and 1841 respectively. PLEASE NOTE that part of what made these volumes famous was the hand colored anatomy plates that these books contained; THESE PLATES HAVE BEEN REMOVED by a previous owner and are NOT INCLUDED in this sale. These books are written in Italian. Volumes 2 through 4 are in very good condition with minimal wear and tear for their age. Please note that Volume 1 is in poor condition and is heavily warped, likely from water damage. However, the pages are intact and fully legible. They are distorted in the waviness of the paper only. These books were originally published in Florence, Italy.
