Here is an interesting antique ambrotype photograph of a young woman in ornate regalia - a well decorated collar with a large brooch. Her arms appear to be folded beneath robes. This photo is housed in a split union case with both halves of the case being present. It dates to the second half of the 1800s. This is a 1/9th plate ambrotype, meaning it measures approximately 2 x 2.5 inches.
