Here is a lovely antique press badge with ribbon from the 28th National Festival of the N.A.G.U., the North American Gymnastics Union, held in the year 1900. The ribbon features a gold-toned tin press badge and white cloth. The ribbon was manufactured by The Whitehead & Hoag Company out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose main office and factory was located in Newark New Jersey, according to a tag and embroidered writing on the back of the ribbon. The bottom of the ribbon is frayed. There is some discoloration due to age, but overall the ribbon is in nice condition.
