History of the Crusades by Michaud, Illustrated by Gustave Doré, 2 Volume Set, c. 1880
Here is a two volume book set of Joseph Francois Michaud's History of the Crusades, illustrated by Gustave Dore. This set of books appears to have been intended for prominent Burlington, Vermont Freemason Jerome Winthrop Goodell, as his name is emblazoned on both covers. Both the front and rear covers, along with the first few pages, of Volume 1 are completely detached from the book, and there are losses to the spine. The covers of Volume 2 are still attached, but are in danger of falling off. These books would be an excellent candidate for restoration. These volumes are circa 1880.
