Here is a wonderful Smith Corona Silent portable typewriter typewriter manufactured in the United States in 1952. This typewriter is fully tested and functional and comes with a brand new black and red ink ribbon already installed (you can type in black or in red), so you will be ready to start typing when you receive it. This machine shows normal signs of wear and tear to be expected from a vintage typewriter including minor rust spots, some spots of discoloration on the paint, as well as some internal dust. Some of the keys show surface wear, including a large spot of wear on the spacebar that you can see in the provided photographs. These imperfections are imperceptible while typing and do not impede functionality.
This typewriter comes in a convenient carrying case. Please note that the latch on the carrying case does not function, unless the case is locked. A key is included with the case for this purpose.
