Antique cache of World War One correspondence sent by Private Karl A. Bright while stationed in France, addressed to his mother, Mrs. Agnes T. Bright of Franklin, Massachusetts. Includes multiple letters on YMCA “On Active Service” stationery dated 1918, along with an “I have arrived safely overseas” postcard. Also included is an 1839 miniature Bible, assorted calling cards, newspaper clippings, and related ephemera. All items are found together in the original period paperboard “Symphony Lawn” box. Wear consistent with age and long-term storage. Box and contents offered as found with no additions or subtractions.
